DIHA Winter 2010 Schedule

January 9 Skills, drills, and scrimmage
  • 9:00-10:00 mini-stick (ages 4-6)
  • 10:00-11:30 division 3 (ages 7-10)
  • 11:30-1:00 division 2 (ages 11+)
January 16 Skills, drills, and scrimmage (same schedule Jan. 9)
January 23 Game 1 (schedule announced on DIHA-announce)
January 30 Game 2
February 20 Game 3
February 27 Game 4
March 6 Game 5
Mar. 7 (Sunday) Game 6
March 13 Playoffs

* The season will start this Saturday as scheduled, but, we will not play our first official games until January 23.

* The first two Saturdays (1/9 and 1/16) will be skills, drills, and scrimmage days. These will allow us time to bring in more kids and evaluate talent in order to make the teams competitive.

* The schedule for 1/9 and 1/16 will be:

  • 9:00-10:00 mini-stick (ages 4-6)
  • 10:00-11:30 division 3 (ages 7-10)
  • 11:30-1:00 division 2 (ages 11+)

* Division one players will attend the division 2 session until we get enough older players to start a division 1 league. After the first two weeks we will evaluate the Div. 1 group and decide whether to have a season or issue refunds.

* Anyone who has already paid their son/daughter's registration fee is paid up for the entire season including the two clinic days.

* We will also use the clinics to attract new players. Any kid who would like to try a clinic without committing for the entire season may do so for $10 a session. The cost of the clinics will be applied toward the registration fee for families who (after participating in the clinics) decide to sign up for the season.
